Who are we?

What will we do with your data?

Your personal data is used to establish a channel of communication with you and to provide the services you request from us: valuation of your home, mortgage simulation or improvement, taking out insurance, legal advice, or sending our newsletter if you have subscribed. We may also use it, if you give us your express consent, to inform you about our activities and promotions.

Why do we need your data?

Your personal data is necessary so that we can communicate with you and provide you with our services. In each of our forms you will find tick boxes that allow you to decide, clearly and simply, how your information is used.

Who will know your information?

Only duly authorised Wereal staff have access to your information. The institutions necessary to provide the requested service may also have access to it — for example, the relevant bank or insurer when we handle your mortgage or your insurance — as well as the public or private bodies to which we are legally obliged to provide your data. For any other disclosure, we will ask for your prior authorisation through clear options.

How do we protect your data?

Will we send your data outside Spain?

We do not send your data to countries that do not offer adequate guarantees of protection. If providing a particular service exceptionally required an international transfer of data, we would ask for your permission beforehand and apply the relevant security measures.

How long do we keep your data?

We keep your data for as long as our relationship lasts and for the periods required by law. Once those periods have passed, we delete it securely.

What are your rights?

You can contact us at any time to find out what information we hold about you, to correct it if it is inaccurate, or to request its erasure when it is no longer necessary. You also have the right to data portability, to request that your information be transferred to another organisation. You can exercise these rights by sending a written request to our registered office, enclosing a copy of your identity document, or by writing to info@wereal.es.

Can you withdraw your consent?

You can withdraw your consent at any time. For example, if you once agreed to receive commercial communications and no longer wish to receive them, you can request this by writing to us at info@wereal.es.

Where can you make a complaint?

If you believe that we have not handled your data properly, you can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (Agencia Española de Protección de Datos):

Do we profile you?

As a general rule, we do not profile our users. However, in order to provide our services properly, we may use your information for commercial purposes, such as offering you products tailored to your needs (for example, properties similar to those you have viewed).
